When you
Stop thinking of children as
Complex little humans
Full of innocence
But also mischief, curiosity
Anger, jealousy, intensity
Evil, scheming, cruelty
And unaware of the impacts
Of so much of it
And start processing them as
Stereotyped cute beings
Am i on the other side of
The fence now?
Did it take too long?
Or not long enough?
Or the wrong turn entirely?
Should i have resisted more?
